This notice explains how Été Studios uses and protects personal information. Été Studios, operated by Summer Kelly in Scunthorpe, is the data controller for information used to manage enquiries, bookings and treatments.

- Your name, contact details and Facebook profile details when you message us.
- Appointment, payment and deposit records.
- Consultation, consent, treatment and aftercare records.
- Relevant health, allergy or medication information needed to assess whether a treatment is suitable. This may be special category data.
- Before and after photographs, but only where they are needed for your treatment record or you have agreed to their use.
- Basic technical information recorded by the website host, such as IP address, browser type and access time, for security and service operation.
Why we use it
We use personal information to reply to enquiries, arrange and provide treatments, take deposits, keep appropriate treatment and safety records, provide aftercare, handle complaints, meet legal or insurance obligations and protect the legitimate interests of the business and its clients.
Our usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations and legitimate interests. Where health information or promotional photographs require consent, we will ask for it separately. You may withdraw consent for future use at any time.
Sharing and international services
Information may be shared only where necessary with professional advisers, insurers, payment or booking providers, the website host, regulators, law enforcement or health professionals. Messages sent through Facebook are processed by Meta under its own terms and privacy notice. The website fonts are stored on this website and do not contact Google. Some providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area using their own lawful safeguards.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally deleted when no longer needed. Appointment, transaction and treatment records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for care, insurance, tax and legal purposes. The exact period can depend on the treatment, the client’s age and insurer requirements. Photographs used for marketing are removed from future use if consent is withdrawn, where reasonably possible.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to its use. You may also withdraw consent.
